WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY. . .

The Stopford Family - A Smart City Courtyard in Battersea, London SW11

Nikki took our tiny courtyard garden filled with builder's rubble and transformed it into an oasis of green and calm. A gorgeous lead water trough transformed a blank wall into a beautiful feature, which is particularly special at night when the sound of burbling water zones-out the neighbourhood. Nikki listened to what we wanted for the planting which is lush all year round and has colour and scent in all seasons. I never dreamed our little space could include a dining table for 4, extra seating, glorious planting, a water-feature and even an espaliered fruit tree. A masterclass in small-space design!

Nicola Moore - An Eclectic Urban Garden in Victoria Park, London E9

After an exhausting house renovation we had minimal budget left for our garden but Nikki came to our rescue. She created spaces for both relaxed seating and a dining table with BBQ, surrounded by lovely scented planting. Together we selected beautiful stone paving to blend with our interior flooring and even co-ordinated the tulips with the kitchen wall colour!  Nikki suggested a simple pergola with pretty climbing plants to help give the garden privacy and even advised on furniture and the perfect paint for the shed! Her knowledge and advice was invaluable - we couldn't have achieved this look by ourselves. We spend so much more time outside now - it's such a great space to relax - and it blooms from January to December.

The Berry Family - A Naturalistic Garden in The Fens, Suffolk, IP16

We wanted to make better use of our acre of garden near the Suffolk coast. It's in an AONB area so we wanted to improve the planting for wildlife but in a very natural style. Nikki developed a plan that we can implement in stages; it includes wildflower areas with special mixes of local meadow seed, as well as mini orchard and new deck area surrounded by planting interspersed with lots of interesting grasses that catch the light and the breeze - completely stunning in the setting sun with a glass of wine in your hand! It's such a special place and now we love it completely anew.

Hannah & Vincent Barrida - A Woodland Garden in Clapton, London E5

We have a large north-facing garden and needed advice on what would thrive in our quite shady space. Nikki helped us to completely renovate the planting to create a woodland-style garden that zings with gorgeous jewels like wild strawberry, delicate ferns and scented winter box. She advised on the best climbers to support wildlife on our low-light garden walls and fences. Together we planned and installed a small wildflower area that suits our shady space and buzzes with life. She even found us a fantastic giant planter that used to be a cattle trough! Spring is my absolute favourite season - when the gorgeous drifts of pale creamy daffodils light-up all corners of the garden - it's our little haven in the city.
