RURAL RETREAT

This one-acre plot near the Suffolk Fens with now has a masterplan to create several new wildflower areas, the first of which fills the main view form inside the holiday cabin.

Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, this 100m2 meadow was seeded in late Spring and just eight weeks later was buzzing with insects including several rare species of dragonfly.

Successional flowering begins with bright poppies cornflowers and evolves to include jewel-toned salvias, mallow and mullien later in the season. Simple to maintain with a single late summer cut + clear.
